so i got a question...
I'm just curious here....

What happened to the admins of this community? They were both the admins here and over at _oingoboingo_. It appears both of their LJ's have been deleted. And they were the only maintainers. :|

I don't have any complaints or anything, but seeing as both comms are still active it'd be nice to be able to keep things fresh. By changing layouts and such. *shrugs*

Sooooo...anyone know?

Crossposted to _oingoboingo_.

Well they're active enough to have a few posts a month. At least over in the oingoboingo one. I consider that 'active'.

I was just curious about the mods, LOL. I guess I came to the party too late. :p

I don't know what happened to them but I completely agree with you about keeping them up and fresh. Both here and at _oingoboingo_ I contacted LJ to see if I could take it over, but apparently it doesn't matter that they deleted their journals, no one can take it over, it's still theirs. That makes me sad.

I've done some research and it's turned up all the same answer. I don't know other than hacking into and making it ours. Or starting another new community and attempting to get people to join that one.

Well the only exception LJ will make to that rule is if their is an abuse problem, like massive spam or something.

Other than making a new comm (and that could go well or not), nothing else can be done. :[

Oh I really have no intention of making a new comm. While I am all up for revamping the current existing one, making a new comm and trying to get people from a comm that's been established since 2004 to go over there instead seems like too much of a hassle. :p
