today my fashion teacher came to class on sunday with a friend to fix his coat when this guy and I were working on some outfits. He brought movies of his old work and posters for class, and I found a poster of the riddler jim carrey job, and asked 'darrell did you make this costume?' and he replied 'oh that one was a bitch everything is covered in sequins awful stuff'
He made everything for every batman movie, beetlejuice, the ghostbusters, korean disney land, I just about exploded. He has film of the fittings with michelle phipher and micheal keaton, the spinning beetlejuice head with exploding snakes and huge foam heads of chere and jack nickolson and micheal jackson. He made slimer!!!!!! I totally obsessed over his puppetearing and design my entire life, and he's been teaching me for three years everything he knows and i didn't even
I'm such an oblivious idiot for not making the connections. oy.

Here's a couple of videos of some fairly apt musical selections being played on a couple of musical Tesla Coils...

...and this one has got to be the best one ever! I understand these are quite loud.

Thanks Mr. Wizard!

I have been looking for the Black Beauty soundtrack for some time, but it is extremely rare. Could somebody upload it if it is available? It would be much appreciated. Thankyou!

I'm a very pro-active fan of the things I like, and over the past year have broadcasted an all Danny-Boingo internet station and written some webpages to share my enthusiasm for Mr. Elfman and Oingo Boingo. The time finally came for me to start my own domains, and even though I had other business to work on, I could no longer resist devoting an effort to Elfman and the kinds of fans I've met over the past year. I hope you'll join us at dannyelfman.info.

I took my oldest kid to see Nightmare Before Christmas 3D last night. She was too young to have seen the original in theaters when it first came out, and I was curious to see how well the movie was transitioned into 3D. My official verdict is, "WOW!" You have got to see this while it is still in theaters! When I think about the time they must have spent transitioning this movie into 3D it boggles my mind. My daughter kept reaching out to grab things- trying to catch Sally as she jumped from the tower, trying to catch falling snowflakes, etc.

They took what is arguably the best movie ever made, and went and made it even better. I haven't had so much fun in a movie theater since... well, since those college days at the Rocky Horror Picture Show, but that's another story.

And no, they did not change the soundtrack of the movie- in fact the only changes I noticed other than the rendering into 3D were subtle little things, like better looking snowflakes and new images added to the ending credits which did not diminish the film at all.

Hi everyone, first-time poster here and big time Elfman/Boingo fan here.

I am certain this subject has probably been broached a goodly number of times already in this community, so please forgive me here... but I am looking for all the tracks for LITTLE DEMONS. Not the elfman.filmmusic.com page, since I can't play streaming realplayer and I need to actually download them.

I'm just on a mission to uncover as many obscure, unproduced, often bootleg Danny and Oingo Boingo (esp. Mystic Knights) stuff. So any help pointing me toward where I might download the tracks would be greatly, greatly appreciated.

If this post was in any way illegal, I'll modify/delete it by tomorrow. Thanks!
